Summer Shipping Solutions 2026
During the Summer months, our shipping department checks the 10 day weather forecast daily looking for windows of opportunity to release wine shipments. Heat holds will be placed on orders where the temperatures reached 90 degrees or higher. For states with a delivery of 1-2 days, temperature control shipping and/or ice packs may be offered for an additional fee.
*Disclaimer: We are not responsible for damaged wine if a customer misses a delivery attempt. Please prepare for someone 21 years or older to be present to sign for the delivery.

Our summer shipping options are:
1. Heat holds for temperatures over 90 degrees; which means some customers may not receive their wines until October or November, depending on the dips in weather in their area.
2. Temperature control drop shipping available in AZ, TX, OH and FL. This means that the shipments would be transported to these locations in temperature controlled trucks, and then released to the carriers for primarily 1-2 day delivery times from the drop location.
3. High-density foam icepacks for temperatures up to 95 degrees that have a 1-2 day delivery date.
4. 100% Recyclable Bio-Foam Coolpacks
UPS Delivery Policy Change Effective June 1, 2026
Beginning June 1, 2026, if a customer misses the first delivery attempt, UPS will automatically redirect the package to a nearby UPS Access Point rather than attempting delivery the following day. The shipment will be held at the Access point for up to 7 days at no charge. If the customer does not pick it up within that timeframe, the package will be returned.
